ERGYPHILUS® ATB to support antibiotic treatment
ERGYPHILUS® ATB is a food supplement comprising a unique combination of three live lactobacillus strains scientifically selected to accompany the use of antibiotics.
This innovative formula contains lactobacilli that have been carefully selected for their properties and are of human origin, similar to those naturally present in the gut microbiome. Its formulation, containing 14 billion bacteria in 2 capsules, is designed to support the gut microbiota, which can become compromised whilst taking antibiotics.
Antibiotics can disrupt the balance of the gut microbiota. ERGYPHILUS® ATB provides targeted probiotic support to help maintain a balanced gut microbiome during and after a course of antibiotics.
This product, from the ERGYPHILUS® probiotics range, provides 14 billion bacteria per 2 capsules, a dosage designed to support the gut microbiota when it has been compromised by taking antibiotics. Its ability to withstand gastric acid and to adhere to the target mucous membrane has been demonstrated*. Furthermore, the strains, which can be reactivated, come back to life on contact with the physiological environment, colonising the microbiome and having a beneficial effect.
ERGYPHILUS® ATB also contains vitamin B3, which helps maintain healthy mucous membranes, including those in the gut.
